What is RAK Day?

First created in Denver, Colorado in 1995 this day has quickly spread throughout the World. Often seen in Facebook and online groups for giveaways, it is a lovely way to spread the love. I first learned of RAKs in my 20's whilst watching the film Pay it Forward.

• Create your own mini giveaway on Facebook or Twitter
• Help someone you know needs a helping hand
• Call a friend
• Offer advice
• Buy someone a gift - stationery gift ideas
• Hand make a gift - ideas here
• Send someone 'Happy Mail', write a letter or send a message on the internet
• Give someone a compliment
• Cheer someone up
• Simply be there for someone
