It's Christmassssssss. Yay, just popping on to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and to thank you all for supporting my blog and You Tube channel.
BIG things coming in 2018 including my own domain name - let's make 2018 epic
Happy Holidays, Kerry xx
Oooo 2 more weeks till Christmas, who's excited? Here I'm sharing my updated flip through of my Christmas Planner in particular the December Daily pages. I have done up to day 8 so thought I would share a small planner peek of my memory keeping and creative journal pages and spreads so far.
I've documented my memory keeping in a smash book style way, some use the UKPA December Daily prompts, but only a few as I am using this as an Instagram photo challenge and that will have a different journal insert. If you want to take part in that, it's not too late, head over to Instagram and search for the hashtag #UKPAdd17.
You can see my pages so far in the video here - December Daily Video
I am loving doing a bit of journaling every evening. I don't usually do any in the week when at work as I am usually vegged in front of the tv, I'm still doing that but with the journal on my knee - hahaha. I started the December Daily last year, but gave up after 4 days, so I AM going to see this one through. I'm in such a Christmassy mood now too, I hope you give it a go. You can share your pages over on my Facebook group - Kerrymay._.Makes a Mess
Oooo the C word is quickly approaching, so that means it's out with my Christmas planner and one of my first tasks; The Christmas Bucket List. I am using the Christmas travelers Notebook inserts from the lovely Susie over at Queen Mabel and Doris over on Etsy, you can use code KERRY10 for 10% off and visit the fb group queenmabelanddoris... or you can of course wait for the Black Friday sale of 25% off.
My Christmas Bucket List:
I don't have a huge list this year, most of my list is practical rather than going places. I have added a few planner events I have been to or am going to. You can see my full Christmas Planner Set Up here, but I will be doing an updated one soon.
1. Sweet P Planner Event - check - It was a lovely event, so have a look at my mini vlog.
2. Mrs Brimbles Jingle and Mingle Event - This is fast approaching and I can't wait.
3. Visit a Christmas Market - not a big one like last year, any market will be fine.
4. A Christmas meal somewhere.
5. A bit more 'me' time.
6. Mini planner get together at my house in January before I go back to work (exciting!).
7. Christmas films binge, I just hope I get the time, we break up Friday 22nd, so not much time for fun before Xmas.
8. Clean the house - I'm on it!
9. Marking done before the holidays...I'm so not on it!
10. Book Tenerife for Easter.
11. Try a winter drawing gum page - just done one! Check.
12. Christmas Eve buffet and games - always a family tradition.
13. Time to fill in my Christmas Planner.
14. AVOID SPENDING ALL MY MONEY ON STICKERS IN THE BLACK FRIDAY PLANNER SALES!!! - Yeah right!
So there it all is on my page. I have used stickers from the lovely Kelly over at Hazy Days UK (You can use code KERRY15 for 15% off no min spend), the link should apply the discount if from a computer... or you can wait till the Black Friday sale and get 20% off no min or 25% over £10.

Christmas Travelers Notebook Inserts
The Christmas inserts are amazing and came from the lovely Susie Bray over at Queen Mabel and Doris over on Etsy, as member of her PR team I got to see them before they went on sale. Use code QMDFRIEND15 for 15% off and visit the fb group queenmabelanddoris. Below is a video of the stunning inserts and how I will be using them in my Christmas Planner setup.
If viewing from email or a reader click here to view the video.
As you will see from the video there are a variety of notebooks available which you can purchase here (don't forget the code QMDFRIEND15).
Firstly there is a weekly/monthly planner for the Christmas months and beyond. This will be my go to planner specifically for Christmas planning and won't have my day to day planning in it, you can see in the video and below how I have decorated some of the pages. The pages and covers are so smooth and you can choose which paper set you would like too - bonus!
Next is the Christmas organiser insert, which features a variety of pages from Christmas films, meal planning, advent calendar countdown, decorations, family traditions, planned days out, Christmas crafts and gifts to buy and received.
The final two consist of a Christmas Budget Planner insert and a December Daily insert which is blank for you to decorate. I do want to keep up to date with a December Daily this year, I only got to day 3 and gave up last Christmas!!!
I can honestly say that I WILL use every single page of these notebooks. I made my own last year, but they were nowhere near as detailed as these, hats off to Susie and Carole for creating them.
So that's my bit of Christmas all planned for nice and early, do check Susie's shop on Etsy (QMDFRIEND15) and why not have a go at creating your own travelers notebook from the tutorial I followed. It is so easy, only took me half an hour and that's because I didn't have a large needle. I am hooked and will be making many more for presents and myself to try out other sizes...I mean 6 tn's isn't enough right?
Let me know your thoughts below and Merry Christmas... I mean have a great end of the Summer holidays,
I would like to wish all of my blog readers of 2016 a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR
Make 2017 Awesome!
What's in my Christmas Planner?
Here are the pages I have included in my Christmas Planner section:
Well, that's it, I will be sad when Christmas is over and the planner will go back to sitting on a shelf. I hope that you enjoyed my little planner peek/flip through. I would love to hear how you do your Christmas planning in the comments below. Stay tuned for a few more videos and flip throughs this week including a re-upload of my shared Art Journal (I deleted it by mistake) and a flip through of my Smashbook, other art journal and my bullet/list journal, so make sure you are subscribed to the blog and to You Tube (links below).
Join me in my Christmas kitchen home tour, my very first one...exciting. I love this time of year as I totally go Christmas decoration crazy, but in a tasteful way (well I think it is). This year in my kitchen I have gone for a country rustic feel, complete with a rustic shelf and table centrepiece.
UPDATE DEC 18TH: I've now added some sprigs of misteletoe which I picked up for a pound at the local post office. I think it really sets off the shelf nicely and gives it that true rustic feel I was trying to create.
