Mini Planner Meet at my House (Kerry's Crafty Meet)
On Wednesday 3rd January I hosted a mini meet for 11 people (and two kiddywinks) at my house. This was a chance for the Nottinghamshire Planner girls to get together to craft and plan and of course to chat planners. To say it was a small and informal event we certainly packed it all in, with crafting time, planner time, tea, cake and buffet, swaps table and of course a planner stack.
I had a lovely day and it went so fast. Thankfully I missed out on the enabling conversations from Kylie due to hosting obligations... (yes she did persuade people to buy an Hobonichi and a set of Midliners) hahaha. It was also to see Hannah's little one joining in with the art and planning.

Mansfield Planner Girls Meet - A regular event a few planner friends in the Mansfield area hold in the half term and school holidays, usually hosted at a tea room in Mansfield.
Pamper Plan, Create - This was one of my favourite events, such a great weekend, complete with planning and crafting time, a meal, pamper sessions and pyjama planning till late.
Leanne's Planning Clan - A lovely get together in Annesley (Notts) for the East Midlands Planner Girls (set up by Leanne Bates, Clare Collins and Katy Evans).

Mrs Brimbles Jingle and Mingle - Anna brims Christmas get together in St Neots, a relaxing event with time to plan and craft.
Other Notable Planner Events
UKPA Big Meet - I haven't ever attended one of these, I only found the group last year so missed out on that one and the one this year was only a month away from Pamper, Plan, Create so I couldn't afford both. UKPA is an invite only group for UK Planner addicts. Tickets are sold out for 2018.
Manchester Planner Bee - This looked amazing, I didn't go, but it looked like a great event to attend.
Mrs Brimbles Cambs Planner Con - Usually in April, I will be attending this this year. Tickets will be available soon from Mrs Brimbles Happy Place
Scotcon - If you are Scottish planner addict then this is event for you. Head over to the group to keep updated. Scotlands Planner Girls

On Saturday December 2nd some 40 odd crafters and planners descended on Love Farm hall in St Neots for the Mrs Brimbles Jingle and Mingle crafting and planner meet up. Such a lovely event, very relaxed and chilled out and full of crafting, planning, insert making and of course shopping for all things planners.
The Planner Stalls
There was a whole host of planner and crafting stalls and I promised myself I was going to be good and not spend... that obviously didn't happen!
Scurry and Peck - This is Stephanie Kitchings handmade and hand bound notebooks and journal store. A beautiful collection of vintage style leather notebooks. Go check her out on Instagram.
Stitch and Weave - Jeni Bristows gorgeous goodies all handmade including crochet items, planner clips, charms and gorgeous handmade leather travelers notebooks. Her Etsy shop is on a short break so visit her Instagram for updates.
Jenny Lane Creations - Sheryll Bautista-Pike's gorgeous handmade goodies and beautiful planner clips, charms and handmade travelers notebooks. Visit her shop on and browse through the gorgeousness.
Filofabulouss - Sarah Scott's fabulous stickers, die cuts and gold foiled loveliness. I may have bought a few of the tattoo Santa goodies...
Mrs Brimbles - Of course we can't forget the amazing store from Anna Brim, my purse may say otherwise!
Anna kindly supplied us with a workshop pack of Christmas themed goodies to make our own notebooks for travelers notebooks and did a quick demo. We all had a mix of scrapbook papers and a project life set of clear pockets. I made a start on my book for a December Daily; I already have my December Daily, so this will be used for my photo challenge images on Instagram. I still need to cut it to size.
I also made a cute dashboard for my Christmas Planner using the papers and some sequins I purchased from The Brimbles stall. I love the finished look and yay, a ready made shaker dashboard.
We also had a secret santa - I loved my bath bombs, thank you so much Santa xx
It was such a lovely and chilled out event. We had time to relax and craft (our table was a lovely creative mess!). It was so nice seeing friends new and old and being able to just chat and craft. I'm feeling very inspired and hope to now go to Cambs Plannercon in the Spring.
I was so overwhelmed to win a ticket to Plannercon Europe from the lovely people over at UKPA planning group on Facebook and I still haven't got over the fact that I have been. What an amazing experience and opportunity. I am so very grateful.
Documenting the week at Plannercon Europe:
I headed down to Brussels on the Wednesday morning, the event wasn't until Saturday and Sunday, but I wanted time to explore Belgium and if I was going anyway I wanted to make the most of it. Fortunately it was half term week at work, so I had plenty of time.
WEDNESDAY 25th OCTOBER:
I got up at 2.30am - yep! (I had only just gone to sleep!) and set off for the drive to the airport some 25 miles away at 4am. I hate driving and was so scared on the way...I have only driven on the motorway once and that was a warm up for this. All was fine and I got the airport in plenty of time for my 7.30am flight. The plane was so teeny tiny. I was sat in a seat on a single isle, I have seen bigger buses. I arrived in Brussels at around 10.30am after checkout, baggage claim and getting the train. I left my luggage in a locker at the train station and headed straight in to town. I say straight in to town, I got lost so many times that that alone took 2 hours. I did see some lovely sights along the way though.
I finally found Grand Place Square and wow! what an amazing place. It was so beautiful and such a sunny day, so I sat outside in a cafe and took in the sights. I negotiated my way through the pretty side streets and found Rue des Bouchers and eventually found The Delirium bar and the Jennaken Pis statue before heading back to the locker and on to Motel One for a nap and a few beers.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY:
On Thursday I spent the day in Bruges, what a stunning place, such pretty streets and another beautiful square/market. Unfortunately it rained most of the day, so I never got to go on a boat trip, but I did visit lots of places that I had planned to. I must have walked 10 miles easily. I managed to find (eventually), The Old Hot Chocolate House and OMG I am so glad that I did. A cup of hot chocolate that you pour a whole chocolate cup of buttons in to and yes the pouring cup is chocolate too, topped off with the most amazing Belgian waffle... heaven.
Friday the plan was to go the Atomium, however on arising I realised that I could not walk...ouch the pain. So instead I mooched around the hotel, did some planning in the bar and headed over to Paul's bakery across the road for lunch. In the evening my planner friends arrived - yay and it was back the bakery, then time for the 'mini meet' with some of the attendees. So many people turned up (I had organised it thinking there would be around 10 of us). It was lovely to chat to so many like minded people and talk all things planners, it was also lovely to finally meet some of my lovely blog readers and online planner friends.
Saturday and Sunday: Plannercon Europe Event:
Wow, what an event, the organisers were amazing and really did pull out all of the stops, it was a bit of a whirlwind I must admit, so many people I met, workshops undertaken, goodie bag claimed, swap table rummaged through, stalls perused, purchases ringed in, raffle tickets given and a teeny tiny bit of planner time. I met Erin Condren and got her to sign my planner, got a personalised Leuchturm Monthly planner and had so much fun. Katie Teage's planner song to an Ed Sheeran song was a particular highlight. I won't waffle on (get it?) too much as I have documented the event and goodies in my two videos below. I just want to thank everyone for making it possible, I will never, ever forget it.
I did miss a few goodies out of the haul video by mistake so they are featured in the image above. Enjoy watching my two videos below, the first of the trip and event itself and the second of the huge haul from the goodie bag, purchases, gifts and swap table. I decided to make some memory pages in my smash book to document the day and all of the lovely people I met along the way. You can see a video of my pages which include the one above which I love and pages I smashed of my tickets, information pack and the pages that my table added in our journal swap #chillchicks ._.
The whole weekend was perfect, a nice mix of a few chilled out drinks and food, a lovely meal, Starbucks, swimming, steam room and jacuzzi time, pampering massage and facial (and OMG a head massage too), then time to craft, journal, plan and shop till your hearts content and indeed it was. See what we got up to on the journal page itself.
(Stickers used are from the shops mentioned after the video)
On Wednesday a few of the lovely UKPA (UK Planner Addicts) planner girls organised a small meet up in Mansfield (UK) to eat cake and talk planners. This has become a regular meet up for us East Midland girls. We meet up most school holidays to catch up, show off our planners and share swaps and goodies. I love how friendly the planner community is in the UK and have met a lot of new friends in the short time that I have been a part of it. I'm just still disappointed no one would have an afternoon tea with me - I am a greedy guts! Hahaha (only joking girls).
We always meet up in the delightful Little Sugar Shack and then head out into town for a little 'boutique' shopping (ahem...charity shops), then usually head in to Mansfield for a scout around The Works, Poundland and Primark. Check out my video below for my first ever haul video, where I will share the goodies I purchased and the freebies shared.
Next on my list is the fabulous Pamper and Plan event, which is now sold out. This is run/organised by Michelle from Ugly Bug Plans, Kelly from Hazy Days UK and Leanne from The Geeky Planner. I can't wait to meet new people and enjoy my first big planner event... not to mention the crafts, planning, relaxation and spa! It looks like it is going to be a great event and I have already planned it all out in my planner of course.
So, have you been to any planner meet up's? Have you got any planned in the pipeline? - Leave a comment below ._. xxxx
