The main thing you will need when starting out in Bullet Journaling ​ is obviously a good notebook. There are many different journals you can use. However there are many other popular alternatives out now such as this notebook by Lemome which comes with an added integrated pen loop. Bullet Journal Stickers

Stickers are a great way to cheat your bujo pages if you artistic skills are not up to scratch or if you want to save time. I love these cute border stickers from Hazy Days UK on Etsy, perfect for days of the week headers and tracking.

​These watercolour painted brush stroke stickers also are a great time saver for adding pretty days of the week headers in your layouts and planner spreads.

Oh my cute! Cuteness overload from this sticker shop. I use their Strength, Core and Cardio stickers a lot in my fitness tracking. They have a whole array of pretty stickers, including the original 'flump' stickers. They are definitely one of my go to shops.

Pens for Bullet Journaling

Ahhh pens... I do love pens. My favourite pens for bullet journaling are the Pilot Frixon Pens erasable pens. I love them for several reasons; they are available in great colours, they write very smoothly and you can erase any mistakes that you make. They are great for bullet journals as I find I often make mistakes when drawing out my layouts.

Highlighters

A bullet journal must have are highlighters. Perfect for creating page headers, page titles and just for good old fashioned highlighting. Bullet journaling is a very functional planning system, so many bullet journal users use a colour coded system in their planning. Great for striking through completed tasks and colour coding your check boxes.

The Zebra Mildliners are the most popular, I now have a set myself and they are great, no smudge at all when highlighting over pen. Alternatively you could use the Stabilo pastel highlighters for a more affordable option.

Bullet Journal Stencils

If you draw out a lot of different layouts, it is well worth investing in a stencil set. I don't have this set yet, but it is on my Christmas Amazon Wishlist... let's hope my sister is reading this post - hehehe.

Washi Tape

I am in love with this washi tape from Amazon, so pretty. 

I can't imagine not using washi tape in my bujo style layouts. Washi is a great way to divide your pages and section off different areas of your page. It can be used to create sub sections, vertical or horizontal lines or just to add prettiness or colour to your page.
