Ever been to a planner meet or convention? What's the hype? Are they worth it? Absolutely yes. I am fortunate to have attended quite a few meets and conventions last year including a mini meet at my house on the 3rd January this year. If you are thinking of attending a meet up this year I whole heatedly can recommend you go to at least one if you are in to planners and planning. Read on to see which meets I have attended and what other meets you might consider attending.

Mini Planner Meet at my House (Kerry's Crafty Meet)

On Wednesday 3rd January I hosted a mini meet for 11 people (and two kiddywinks) at my house. This was a chance for the Nottinghamshire Planner girls to get together to craft and plan and of course to chat planners. To say it was a small and informal event we certainly packed it all in, with crafting time, planner time, tea, cake and buffet, swaps table and of course a planner stack.

I had a lovely day and it went so fast. Thankfully I missed out on the enabling conversations from Kylie due to hosting obligations... (yes she did persuade people to buy an Hobonichi and a set of Mildliners) hahaha. It was also tnice to see Hannah's little one joining in with the art and planning.

Mansfield Planner Girls Meet - A regular event a few planner friends in the Mansfield area hold in the half term and school holidays, usually hosted at a tea room in Mansfield.

Pamper Plan, Create - This was one of my favourite events, such a great weekend, complete with planning and crafting time, a meal, pamper sessions and pyjama planning till late.

Leanne's Planning Clan - A lovely get together in Annesley (Notts) for the East Midlands Planner Girls (set up by Leanne Bates, Clare Collins and Katy Evans).

Plannercon Europe - Wow an amazing event in Brussels and I was so lucky to win my ticket from UKPA.

Sweet P's Christmas Planner Meet - Rosie Meers event in Hartshill, Nuneaton, a lovely meet up.

Mrs Brimbles Jingle and Mingle - Anna Brim's Christmas get together in St Neots, a relaxing event with time to plan and craft and workshop.

Other Notable Planner Events

UKPA Big Meet - I haven't ever attended one of these, I only found the group last year so missed out on that one and the one this year was only a month away from Pamper, Plan, Create so I couldn't afford both. UKPA is an invite only group for UK Planner addicts. Tickets are sold out for 2018.

Manchester Planner Bee - This looked amazing, I didn't go, but it looked like a great event to attend.

Mrs Brimbles Cambs Planner Con - Usually in April, I will be attending this this year. Tickets will be available soon from Mrs Brimbles Happy Place

Scotcon - If you are Scottish planner addict then this is event for you. Head over to the group to keep updated. Scotlands Planner Girls

If you join UKPA or any of the Facebook Planning groups I bet you can find one, people are always holding mini meets xx
