The frame came with four postcards already on it, but as my craft room wall is fairly dark I swapped a few out for a few lighter coloured postcards to make it stand out on the wall and to make it easier to see the clips. I also cut small slits in to some of the postcards to make it easier to attach the paperclips to the cards.
I also added a few pieces of my favourite ephemera and die cut pieces and finished it all off with some copper fairy lights around the edge (also bought cheaply from Primark). The whole frame with lights cost less than £10 in total.
I love the finished look. I finally have a new planner space in my craft room as before I only had a desk for my art. The scissors wooden block filled with my favourite pens really finishes off the look and I love it.
