On Saturday 29th July Leanne Bates, Katy Evans and Clare Collins held their first planner meet for the East Midlands, Mansfield and Ashfield area. It was a lovely day at the Acacia Centre in Annesley Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire and great to be able to put names to faces. I have been on planner meets before with some of the UKPA (UK Planner Addicts) ladies, which you can read about here Mansfield Planner Meet.
The above photo is just some of the swap table goodies that people bought in, there was plenty more added to this throughout the day and I got some lovely things. The goody bags for the day were amazing, Clare, Katy and Leanne did an amazing job of putting them together and getting the goodies resourced. Thank you to the amazing UK Etsy sellers that contributed. We also got a chance to browse through some of the shop sellers stalls. Stephanie Kitching had some gorgeous handmade books from her soon to be opened shop Scurry and Peck and Rosie Meer (Sweet P) had an array of lovely washi tape. Clare Collins made some gorgeous crochet mug covers and Jane also had an amazing hand sewn stall selling amazing planner pencil cases and hand sewn goodies, vist her here - Oh Sew Sweet.
The lunch was a lovely buffet and a nice opportunity to chat all things planners. After lunch it was time for the raffle. I bought four tickets and won four prizes, yay. There were some amazing prizes that again sellers and shops donated. I won a stunning micro A7 travelers notebook, handmade in leather from the lovely Kirstyanne Ross, a hand sewn planner pouch and pencil case (sorry I don't know the sellers name), another pencil case by Jane and a Stampin' Up kit of papers from Michelle Mills. It was then time for a few photos and the 'Planner Stack', amazing that there was only 20 of us, but 53 planners!
We then had time for a bit of crafting, planning and flipping through each others planners. I have now decided that I NEED a Foxy Fix after seeing Aletheia's gorgeous planners. I am also in awe of the bujo goddess that is Marianne Williams, her bullet journal is stunning, check out her pages on Instagram here - maz_bujo. I only had a little planning time after chatting, so created the start of a travel journal using pages from Mrs Brimbles Patreon which you can see a sneak peek of below (work in progress).
We all had an amazing day and it went soooo fast. The ladies will be holding another longer meet next year as well as having mini meets in Mansfield throughout the year (in the school holidays). They will soon be getting a Facebook group up, but until then keep updated here - East Midlands Planner Girls. Well done ladies, thoroughly enjoyed it, here's to many more.

So, I'm off on my holidays tomorrow - Sunny Spain for two whole weeks, I can't wait. I have a few scheduled posts on here and You Tube and will still be posting on Instagram, so don't forget about me. I also have my first ever Brimbles Creative Team post tomorrow (it goes live whilst I am on the plane)... scary, but exciting. Take Care,
Kerry xx
