Tiny Tn Micro Art Journal

Tiny art journals and micro journaling has really taken off this year.  I got this tiny tn (travelers notebook) from the UKPA Big Meet in January and wasn't sure how to use it.  I then saw a lot of people were using theirs for art journaling and mixed media, so of course I had to join in. 

​I have loved creating collage and watercolour art journal pages in this.  It is much simpler than using a large journal as it is much less intimidating.  I never struggle with what to put on the page, I just get out my supplies and create.  I can whip up a journal page in less than 10 minutes.

Below is a flip through of my fully completed micro tn.  I had so much fun using this, that I now have started 2 more!

My Micro Art Journal Pages

Below are some close ups of some of my favourite pages from my art journal insert.  I love the layering aspect of creating these pages.  

​The page below uses a mix of paint and stamps, layered with this gorgeous washi tape from the creative journal kit over at Little Rainbow Moon.

Next up is one of my favourite pages. It is very simple and took me less than 5 minutes to put together. Perfect for a bit of 5 minute mindfulness.  I used a beautiful die cut from Crafty Ali  / Bonbons Kawaii ​, home of the Crafty Bonbons kit.  I then added a bit of doodling and viola!

The collage page below also uses a die cut and stickers from the Crafty Bonbons Box.  I love a vintage themed journal page and a little bit obsessed with vintage flapper girls.

The next page was me playing with watercolour, I love the dappled effect with a simple die cut and biro pen.

Finally, this is a page from the second insert, full of my 'planner girl' and motivational quotes.  I love this quote by Albert Einstein, simplicity at it's best.
