This weeks post for the Planner Girls Collective is an FAQ post. We have put together some planner/blogging questions as a group and answered them in our posts. So here goes...
Why did you start your blog?
I used to have a website years ago and I really missed posting and updating it after 6 years of not doing anything on the web, so thought now I had got into crafting and planning that it was the perfect time to start a blog. I also set up You Tube Channel at the same time. By the way my You Tube channel this week has hit 100 subscribers - thank you so much (I now have my own link too ._.) https://www.youtube.com/kerrymaymakes Other than planning do you do other crafts? Oh yes. I'm really in to art journaling and creative journaling. I just love creating memory pages as you can see in a variety of my blog posts here Art Journaling Series and here Creative Journaling. You can also join my art journaling group Kerrymay._.Makes a Mess If money was no object, what planner would you use? Now then...I would love a Kate Spade planner for the aesthetics, but honestly I don't think I would use it as the planner style itself is not for me with the zipped rings. I would also love a Foxy Fix and a real Midori. However, the real midori is quite flimsy and has no pockets, so not sure that would for me either. How many planners do you currently own? And how many are presently in use? I currently have three travelers notebook style planners; a Lyradori for my art journaling and travel journals, an Uglydori for my everyday planning, weekly, monthly, health tracker and bullet journal inserts. I then have an unbranded leather tn for work, again with weekly, monthly and a blank insert. I also have an A5 Carpe Diem, but it is currently still housing my inserts from last year until I buy an A5 folder to transfer them to. Who is your planner idol? Whose planners/planning style do you aspire to? Oh several people are my planner idols. Jo from Little Rainbow Moon, I love her watercolours and planning style. Anna Brim (Mrs Brimbles), she is just so creative. Michelle Mills for her entrepreneur qualities, Queen Stephanie Mulcahy, for her all time planner godessness! (I like making up words), Christy Tomlinson for her awesome creativity with the Planner Society things I wish I could afford. Favourite Facebook Planner Groups? My all time favourite is UKPA (UK Planner Addicts), which is currently back as a secret group), and Mrs Brimbles Happy Place. Both of these groups have inspired me so much and I would never have started blogging, planning, crafting and creating art if it wasn't for these.
Would love to hear some of your answers - simply comment below.
