Creative Showcase - January

I thought it would be nice to do a bit of a 'Creative Showcase' of what I have been up to at the end of the month, a bit like a monthly review, but of my art journaling and creative makes, not just of my planners.  So January...

Ahhhh January you little terror.  It really does sneak up on you and then grabs you by the horns saying "I will make this the most miserable month".  That said and in-spite of having the flu and working ridiculous hours for the school production I am directing (Wizard of Oz), I have managed some downtime to create a little bit.

The image at the top is one I experimented with when I was trying to be positive (My word of the year is stress-free, so I thought this was apt).  I have bought some texture paste, so had a play with creating texture through masks and then using alcohol ink and watercolour.  I added some ephemera from the great prize I won in the Autumn from Little Rainbow Moon (you can see the post here Little Rainbow Moon Unboxing). In contrast the image to the right just about sums up how I am feeling. Nothing more needs to be said on that one, ha ha ha.

In addition to this I have been busy setting up my Every day Planner in my Uglydori, you will have seen some of this in my first two posts of the year here - Bujo Planning and Goals and here - Hello 2017 - Planner Girls Collective.  Below are some of the images from my set up that are new this week.
