Phew, I love a bit of memory keeping and have finally completed my Plannercon Europe Creative journal and my Summer adventures travelogue. I have been so inspired by Anna Brims online course on creating an 'Adventure Journal', I can highly recommend it. I will talk you through the basics of the course and how I got started on my Adventure journeys, right through to the finished product including my full creative journal flip throughs.
Oooo 2 more weeks till Christmas, who's excited? Here I'm sharing my updated flip through of my Christmas Planner in particular the December Daily pages. I have done up to day 8 so thought I would share a small planner peek of my memory keeping and creative journal pages and spreads so far.

Hello everyone. Wow, November is here and Bonfire Night has been and gone...crazy! Today I am creating a Bonfire Night themed memory keeping page in my creative journal. I have used the October collage sheets and printables from Mrs Brimbles Patreon page and wow we were spoiled for choice with last months goodies. As part of the layout, I have turned some of the printables in to die cut pieces.

So excited to be starting a new feature on my blog - The Young Crafter. Today I am featuring a lovely young lady called Carys, who has a massive passion for scrapbooking. Have a look what she has been up to and how she started her scrapbook journey in her own words. View my Beginners Guide to Scrapbooking here.
Phew, I have finally fully completed my first Creative Journal / Smash book which I started over Easter in 2016. It has quite a lot of pages as it is in one of the Moleskine Notebooks. The end of the book has my Adventure Journaling Course pages that I have just completed from a course over at Mrs Brimbles I thoroughly enjoyed the course and hope that it is going to continue pushing my journaling forwards. Plannercon Europe news at the bottom of the post.
Over in my Facebook Art Journaling group we have just completed a junk journal challenge which ran through the month of August. I have had an overwhelming amount of people taking part and loved every minute of it. Such beautiful books and journals were created. I for one will most definitely be making many more, they are so pretty and it has been so therapeutic. I will be using mine as a Happiness and Inspiration journal to log my moments of happiness and likes as well as adding mood boards and inspirational quotes.
This week I have been making my first real flip book for a pen pals 'Happy Mail' / 'Snail Mail' in America. I have documented the plan with me / make with me process in the video below. It's so easy and would also make a great gift for your child's teacher or as a Mothers Day gift, just adapt what you fill the envelopes with (reward stickers, pens, herbal tea), the possibilities are endless. I will be making my next one this week as a leaving gift for a work colleague.

I'm not what you would call a 'scrapbooker', but I do love doing smash book pages. However I have recently got into paper crafts and creating scrapbook pages and layouts as a result of recent workshops at Michelle Mills' Craft Club and as part of National Scrapbook Day, which I really enjoyed. So have a read for a few tips for starting out scrapbooking and using your smash book ideas in your layouts.

Join me in my first 'Plan With Me' Creative Journaling process video as part of the Planner Girls Collective. Boy did it take some editing. At one point the file totally gave up and I had to start again from scratch.
