Happy National Scrapbook Week
This month as part of the Mrs Brimbles Creative Team I have been playing with watercolours and drawing gum again, but in a completely different way to last time. In Anna's latest Patreon tutorials, she has been showing us how to create something called 'Journal Spots', journaling cards that use drawing gum to create a resist area that we can then use to write or journal on. I love them! It's also National Scrapbook Day on Saturday, so happy scrapping!
It's the Easter holidays - yay, so I have been busy creating and 'arting'. I have two completely different things to show you today, a junk journal I am working on and a quick 5 minute art journal / creative journal page, that shows you that creating art doesn't need to be a big task.
An unboxing of a beautiful junk journal kit to make your own stunning vintage junk journals and altered books using a kit by Queen Mabel & Doris on Facebook and on Etsy. This is such a pretty kit and could be used in so many ways. Have a watch to see it in all of it's loveliness.
Yay, February, finally the January blues are gone and we can all look forward to the rest of the year. This month I have been watching a lot of Anna Brim's (Mrs Brimbles) patreon videos on creating watercolour animal paintings using watercolour. You can join in here on Anna's patreon page.
