Planning on a budget? Looking for free planner printables? - Read on for my favourite 5 free planner printable sites for freebie printables and planner downloads (both functional and full kits).

​Anyone that knows me knows how frugal I am, I love a good bargain, even when I have some spare money around I feel guilty spending it. If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know I have already given budget tips for art resources in the post here.

​In this blog post I will share my organisation tips for using free planner printables, along with my favourite freebie planner printable sites.

When I first started planning I had never heard of Etsy, so used creative ways to plan in my diary/planner.  The first thing I did was trawl through Pinterest.  Wow I was in awe and was hooked.  I didn't realise there were so many free planner printables I could use.

Victoria Thatcher.com <---

What can I say about this site other than WOW.  Victoria has amazing free printables, some of the best around in almost any style or theme you can think of and they are all stunning.  If you have not visited her page you must...go on, go now! (Make sure you come back here though, he he he).  

​Part of the Olympic set in the image is from her site and I have saved many more of her gorgeous layouts and even used some in my journaling for my Liverpool trip (yes she even has a set on The Beatles).

Design Lovely Studio <---

Magdalena has some gorgeous planner kits to print, both free and paid for on her website and Etsy shop. I met Magdalena at Plannercon Europe and am so glad I did, she has a great eye for design. Grab some freebies.

Another great free planner printable website that offer downloads to buy and for free.  I love the variety of layouts they have, some really pretty layouts and styles.

Monica's Marvelous Printables:

Monica's Facebook group is a cavern of wonderful goodies.  I have never seen any drama there and it is constantly being updated with goodies.  Monica often runs polls to ask what people want and she is always adding new content such as tv show sets and comic style layouts.  I can't recommend them enough.

Lovely Planner ​<----

Lovely planner has tons of cute sets for Happy Planners and Erin Condren sizes, but they can easliy be adapted for any layout.   Gorgeous freebies and kits with so many different themes as well as functional stickers and printables for other things too.

Planner Printable Tips

A lot of people buy sticker paper and print the printables onto that and then cut with scissors or a paper trimmer.  I don't as I find this can get expensive and it is hard to score the back to get the stickers off the paper.

I use regular printer paper and a pritt stick.  Some of my nicest layouts have used free printables. I have created a folder on my pc called Planner Printables and have added categories such as Summer, Boho, School Related, Christmas and then save all the printables into their appropriate folder and print them only when I need to.  

​The ones I have printed in advance I store in a concertina style folder with the same headings as my computer folders so I can easily find them. ​
